To address their need for support and education, PrescRXptive Communications,LLC, and E Central Medical Management are co-sponsoring the third annual “Toolkitfor Independence: Tips and Techniques for a Successful Medical Practice,” a complimentary dinner symposium packed with insights to help independent medical practices can thrive. The event will be held on Thursday, January 10,from 5:30 – 9:30 p.m. at JewelRestaurant in Melville.
Keynote speakers include James Bavoso, Manager, Provider Outreach & Education, National Government Services, the Medicare Contractor for New York, who will offer a “2019 Medicare Update,” and Marni Jameson Carey, Executive Director of the Association for Independent Doctors (AID), who will talk about “The Fight for Independence.” New this year are roundtable discussions moderated by leading experts in specific areas. They include Mathew J. Levy, Esq., principal of the firm WeissZarett Brofman Sonnenklar & Levy, P.C., who will discuss navigating a payor audit, NP and PA supervision requirements; Susan Montana, owner of Habanero, Inc., who will offer advice on coding, billing, and federal privacy laws; and Steven Peltz, Founder of Peltz Practice Management &Consulting Services, who will address mergers, acquisitions, and the pros and cons of employment for physicians.
The event will feature information and displays from vendors highlighting products and services that can help practices maximize their revenues, manage standard business functions, and handle specialized regulatory and reporting requirements.
