PrescRXptive Communications, LLC, and E Central Medical Management Sponsor
Symposium for Independent Medical Practices on February 27

CENTERPORT, N.Y. – The trend of physicians giving up their private practices to join hospitals and health networks is undeniable. At the same time, there are thousands of physicians on Long Island and throughout the New York City region who are committed to remaining independent. To address their need for support and education, PrescRXptive Communications, LLC, and E Central Medical Management are co-sponsoring “Toolkit for Independence: Tips and Techniques for a Successful Medical Practice,” a complimentary dinner symposium packed with insights on how independent medical practices can thrive. The event will be held on Tuesday, February 27, from 5:30 – 9:30 p.m. at Verona Ristorante in Farmingdale.

Speakers include James Bavoso, Manager, Provider Outreach & Education, National Government Services, the Medicare Contractor for New York, who will offer a “2018 Medicare Update.” He will be joined by Sima Ali, Esq., Ali Law Group, P.C., speaking about “Labor and Employment Overview for New York State Employers.” Mathew J. Levy, Esq., principal of the firm Weiss Zarett Brofman Sonnenklar & Levy, P.C., will discuss “Navigating a Payer Audit.”

The event will feature information and displays from vendors highlighting products and services that can help practices maximize their revenues, manage standard business functions, and handle specialized regulatory and reporting requirements.

The symposium is free for physicians and office managers who are accompanied by a physician. The evening includes a cocktail hour and sit-down dinner. There are limited seats available. For additional information, call 631-606-0525. To register, visit https://toolkitformds.eventbrite.com.
